Township will have eye on recycling

VALLEY VIEW – Smile, you may be on camera. A new camera has been ordered and will be installed at the recycling bins located at the Hegins Township office complex on Gap Street.
Last month the supervisors reported that people using the recycling bins were piling items up outside the bins, causing items to blow and be strewn all over the place. They warned the public that if caught leaving stuff lay at the bins they would be prosecuted for littering. The supervisors suggested that if the bins are full to take the items back home and come another day.
