ELIZABETHVILLE - Ian Buffington's layup with less than 5 seconds remaining in the second overtime lifted the Trojans to victory over Line Mountain in a Tri-Valley League game December 17.
Matthew Miller led Upper Dauphin with 20 points, followed by Buffington with 16 and Austin A. Weaver with 12.
Bill Breinich led Line Mountain with a game-high 33 points. Codi Morris added 11, followed by Cole Rickert with 10.

HEGINS - Brendan Miller scored 13 points and Stephen Sedesse added nine as the Vikings toppled the Bulldogs in a Division II matchup December 17.
Owen Daniel chipped in eight points to help Williams Valley improve to 2-0 in Schuylkill League play.

PINE GROVE - Peter Harding led all scorers with 18 points as the Eagles beat the Cardinals in the Division I opener for both.
Cody Coller registered 10 points for Blue Mountain, while Jacob Wolfe netted 13 to lead Pine Grove.

NEWPORT - Facing a late-charging Buffaloes squad, Tri-Valley held off the surge to even its record December 15.
Devin Masser scored 13 of his game-high 25 points in the third quarter as the Bulldogs earned a 49-39 victory in a non-league boys' basketball contest.
Cale Bruso pitched in with 10 points for Tri-Valley, which saw its 20-14 halftime lead trimmed in the third quarter before holding on for the win.

TOWER CITY - The Vikings' Owen Daniel led four Vikings in double figures with a game-high 23 points in a non-league win over the Line Mountain Eagles.
Colin Harrison scored 16 points, Dennis Jansen contributed 12 and Stephen Sedesse totaled 11.

PINE GROVE - Kobe D'Agostino scored nine points for the Cardinals in a non-league loss to the Scouts.
Dexter Jordan led Conrad Weiser with 12 points followed by William Wagner with 10.

TOWER CITY - Deshawn Williams registered 24 points to lead the Lions to a non-league victory over the Vikings.
Colin Harrison paced Williams Valley with 18 points, and Brendan Miller added 15 for the Vikes.

TOWER CITY - Owen Daniel scored eight of his team-high 11 points in the second half as the Vikings rallied for a Division II victory over the Miners.
Dennis Jansen tallied seven of his nine in the final two quarters for Williams Valley, which trailed 18-17 at halftime. Brendan Miller also scored 11 for the Vikes, who shot 24-for-33 from the foul line.
Isaac Melochick led all scorers with 18 points for Minersville.

MCALISERVILLE - Austin A. Weaver and Ian Buffington scored eight points apiece in the Trojans' Tri-Valley League loss.
Trailing by one, Upper Dauphin had a chance to take the potential game-winning shot with about 10 seconds left. UDA's shot missed, East Juniata got the rebound and ran out the clock.

MIDDLEBURG - Bill Brenich scored 22 points and Cole Rickert 21 to lead the Eagles over the Mustangs.
Rickert also had 16 rebounds, four steals and four assists.
