WHITEHALL - Pine Grove's Becky Evans led all scorers with 26 points, but it wasn't enough for the Cardinals in a non-league loss to the Zephyrs.
Shannon Zimmerman also scored 19 points for Pine Grove.

TAMAQUA - Tara Nahodil netted a game-high 22 points and Tri-Valley opened the game with a 31-6 run en route to a December 13 non-league victory.
Juli Weber added 18 points and Taylor Troutman chipped in 11 for the undefeated Dawgs, who extended their lead to 52-10 at halftime.
Maria Streisel led Tamaqua with 11 points.

PINE GROVE - Pine Grove placed four players in double figures led by Becky Evans' 22 points and nine assists, earning the victory over the Battlin' Miners on December 12.

SUNBURY - Alexis Angstadt scored 24 points to lead the Braves, who pulled away with a 14-0 advantage in the third quarter.
For Line Mountain, Jade London was the scoring leader with 12 points. Sarah Lahr added 10 for the Eagles (1-3).

MANDATA - Visiting Halifax, trailing by nine points going into the final quarter, outscored Line Mountain 20-5 in the final quarter to take a 60-54 Tri-Valley League girls basketball win December 11.
Brianna Custer led the Wildcats with 17 points, and Morgan Cox and Kylee Sorichetti scored 14 points each.
Sarah Lahr scored 22 points for Line Mountain to lead all scorers. Jade London had 13 points and seven rebounds.

WHITEHALL - Taylor Troutman and Katie Dietrich combined for 11 points in a 20-6 fourth-quarter run that helped propel the Dawgs to a non-league win over the Zephyrs December 11.
Tara Nahodil led Tri-Valley with 14 points, while Troutman and Kylie Spickler added 10 apiece.

ELIZABETHVILLE - McKenzie Miller tallied 10 points to lead the Trojans in a Tri-Valley League loss to the Indians.
Upper Dauphin struggled with post player Katie Schwenk in foul trouble. She finished with a season-low four points.
