TOWER CITY - Tara Nahodil smacked 11 kills and Jordan Schwalm added eight kills to lead Tri-Valley past Williams Valley 25-6, 25-8, 25-14 in a Division III match.

Haley Deibert contributed 25 assists and five aces for the Dawgs.

Tri-Valley won JV 2-0.

Halifax 3

Millersburg 0

MILLERSBURG - Amber Coppula tallied 10 aces and five kills as the Wildcats swept the Indians 25-17, 25-13, 25-7 in a Division III match.

Amber Laudenslager added six kills for Halifax.

Shamokin 3

Upper Dauphin 0

ELIZABETHVILLE - Cassie Lark and Sierra Sitlinger each had 11 service points, but the Trojans dropped a non-league match with Shamokin 25-17, 25-13, 25-18.

Sitlinger also collected six digs, while Lark had five. Tori Cleveland notched four kills for Upper Dauphin (3-4).

Pine Grove 3

Tamaqua 0

PINE GROVE - Kayla Bressler recorded eight aces and 24 assists as the Cardinals swept the Blue Raiders 25-17, 25-23, 25-6 in a Division I-II crossover match.

Samantha Bertasavage notched 14 kills for Pine Grove (4-2, 4-1 D-II), while Lauren Thompson had five kills and two aces.

Devan Sweeney tallied six kills and three digs for Tamaqua (0-6, 0-5 D-I), while Derrian Gulden had four kills.

Tamaqua won JV 2-1.

Tri-Valley 3

HEGINS - The Dawgs (8-0, 6-0 D-III) swept Shenandoah Valley 25-18, 25-14, 25-21 on Monday, Sept. 24.

Against the Devils, Tara Nahodil paced Tri-Valley with 13 kills, while Taylor Troutman added eight kills and 12 digs. Haley Deibert paced the offense with 23 assists.

Ahna Huss led Shenandoah Valley (4-3, 3-3 D-IV) with eight kills and 10 digs, while Caitlyn Harrington added seven kills and Ali Semanchik had 20 assists.

Tri-Valley won JV 2-0.

Marian 3

Halifax 0

HALIFAX - Marykate Sherkness compiled 19 kills, two aces and five digs as the Fillies swept the Wildcats 25-16, 25-15, 25-11 in a Division III-IV match.

Grace Boyle added four kills and three digs for Marian, while Nikki Collevechio added three aces and six digs and Abby O'Donnell churned out 28 assists, four aces and five digs.

Catherine Amoriello had three aces, 13 assists and 10 digs for Halifax (5-3, 3-3 D-III), while Tess Kiefer recorded three blocks.

Marian won JV 2-0.
