Millersburg 41

MANDATA - Line Mountain won its third game in a row with a Tri-Valley League victory over Millersburg.

Cole Rickert led the Eagles with 23 points, 18 rebounds and five steals.

Bill Breinich added 12 points for Line Mountain, which improved to 8-7.

Travis Lamereaux and Dawson Schlegel led the Tribe with 17 and 11 points, respectively. Josh Howard also pitched in 9 for Millersburg.

U. Dauphin 66

E. Juniata 47

ELIZABETHVILLE - Matthew Miller scored seven of this 15 points during a second-quarter run to lift the Trojans to a 13-point halftime lead en route to a Tri-Valley League victory over the Tigers.

Austin A. Weaver led Upper Dauphin with 22 points, with eight coming in the fourth quarter.

TOWER CITY - The Blue Devils overcame a four-point, first-quarter deficit to take a 34-29 lead at halftime and slowly pulled away in the second half.

Nick Merva torched the nets for 22 points, including six 3-pointers, for Shenandoah Valley. Chris Palubinsky scored seven of his 19 points in the third quarter, while Justin Alvarez added 15.

Dennis Jansen tallied 13 points, and Brendan Miller contributed 12 points for Williams Valley.

Pine Grove 23

ORWIGSBURG - Will Bornstein and Pete Harding each scored 11 points as the Eagles took the lead from the outset and dominated in a Division I victory over the Cardinals.

Brett Kreiser scored five for Pine Grove, which was held scoreless in the third quarter.

Weatherly 47

Tri-Valley 30

HEGINS - The Wreckers broke a first-quarter tie by outscoring the Bulldogs 24-8 in the middle quarters to run away with a Division II-III crossover victory.

Charlie Wallish and Brett Stallone combined for 25 points for Weatherly, while Devin Masser netted eight to lead Tri-Valley.

Greenwood 58

U. Dauphin 49

MILLERSTOWN - Austin A. Weaver scored a team-high 16 points, but it wasn't enough as the Trojans fell to Greenwood in a Tri-Valley League matchup. UDA had posted a (9-5, 6-3) record.

S. Haven 51

Pine Grove 43

PINE GROVE - Vinnie Fanelli scored a game-high 19 points and Schuylkill Haven held off a Pine Grove comeback in the fourth quarter to escape with a 51-43 non-league victory on January 12.

Pine Grove's Jacob Wolfe scored 12 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter as the Cardinals cut the lead to eight after trailing by 13 through the first three quarters.

The Hurricanes halted the momentum by making 5-of-7 fourth-quarter free throws.

Schuylkill Haven's Mike Bubeck added 15 points and Dylan Slotterback chipped in 11. Brett Kreiser led Pine Grove with 17 points.
