Brendan Nestor added 10 points for the Trojans.

Christian Wingard led the Indians with 17 points, including four 3-pointers.

PINE GROVE - Matt Manbeck recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Spartans downed the Cardinals in a Division I contest.

Major Jordan added 10 points for North Schuylkill in the victory.

Kobe D'Agostino led Pine Grove with 14 points.

Wms. Valley 59

Weatherly 49

WEATHERLY - Nick Rodichok scored 23 points and went 10-for-10 from the free-throw line as Williams Valley topped Weatherly in a Division II-III contest.

Ben Rautzahn added 14 points and Stephen Sedesse 11 for the Vikings, who went 27-for-44 as a team from the line.

Williams Valley used a 22-10, fourth-quarter run to help it pull away for the win after the Vikings were down 39-37 at the end of the third.

MANDATA - Elijah Zablosky scored 17 points and pulled down nine rebounds and Line Mountain held off a furious Lancaster Country Day rally to record its first victory of the season, 59-57, in Tri-Valley League boys basketball action Jan. 8.

Kellan Masser followed with 14 points for the Eagles, who led 43-31 after three quarters, but were outscored 26-16 over the final eight minutes. Logan Ingram contributed 11 points and eight rebounds for Line Mountain (1-9).

Halifax 56

MANDATA - Koby Bowman scored 17 points and Stephen Berger 15 and Halifax overcame a two-point halftime deficit to beat the Eagles (1-10, 1-5) in a Tri-Valley League game.

Dylan Bartholomew had 19 points and 12 rebounds, and Elijah Zablosky 11 points and 12 rebounds for Line Mountain. Kyle Masser scored 11 points.

Halifax improved to 6-5, 4-2.
