William P. Koll, 89, of Williamstown, died Thursday, Jan. 5, at Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born in Havtock, Nebraska, October 17, 1922, he was a son of the late Ralph and Anna Kaufmann Koll.
William was a Navy Veteran; proudly serving for 27 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander; after retirement he was a Support Contractor at Lakehurst Naval Base, Lakehurst, NJ.
He was a member of Lakehurst Masonic Lodge; Williamstown American Legion and a life member of the V.F.W.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Louise M. Johnson Koll; two children, Leo T. Koll, California and Jacqueline A. Franklin, Virginia; sister, Dolores Weikhorst, Nebraska; five grandchildren.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
