Warren C "Buddy" Heim, 83, of 597 E. Mountain Road, Hegins, formerly of Sacramento, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at his residence.

He was born on Saturday, April 20, 1929, in Sacramento, a son of the late Henry Heim and Mary Clark Heim.

He was a project manager for the Commonwealth of PA Dept. of Construction.

Buddy and his wife owned and operated the former Heim's Restaurant, Sacramento.

He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento.

He was also a member of F&AM Valley Lodge 797, Valley View, the Harrisburg Consistory, Tall Cedars of Lebanon Forest 125, Millersburg, the Lykens Valley Hunting Camp of Sullivan County, Larry's Creek Lodge of Salidaysburg, and the NRA.

Buddy enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Louise S. Artz; a granddaughter Tiffany M. Boyer; a brother Marlin Heim, and a sister Hilda Boyer.

He is survived by his wife Bernice V. Bixler Heim, to whom he was married for 66 years.

He is also survived by two daughters Mary M. Betz of Hegins and Deborah L. Menkins of Cherry Hill, NJ; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a brother Clair Heim of Meyerstown; a sister Margaret Sagner of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews.

Masonic services were held on Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento. A memorial service followed the Masonic service, with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating.

There was no viewing or visitation.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 2300 Main Street, Sacramento, PA 17968.

Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, was in charge of arrangements.
