Thomas W. Gaffney, 83, of Williamstown, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.
Born in Williamstown, Aug. 25, 1929, he was a son of the late John and Margaret Flynn Gaffney.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6497 and American Legion Post 239, both of Williamstown.
Tom retired from the former AMP Inc., Williamstown.
He was a life member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James, John "Sub" and Michael; and two sisters, Agnes and Margaret.
Surviving are his two daughters, Josette M. Fenstermacher and Cindy A. Showers, both of Williamstown; three granddaughters, Tonia Showers, Camilla McNeal and Tricia Showers; three great-grandchildren, KyLee Fenstermacher, Bailee McNeal and Fletcher Thompson; a brother, Kerry Gaffney; nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. C. Anthony Miller officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Williamstown. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, c/o the parish office, 732 Main St., Lykens PA 17048.
