Tammi Leigh Kissinger, 52, Bernville, died July 3, 2014 at the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

She was born in Harrisburg on March 16, 1962, a daughter of Robert and Sandra Werdt of Williamstown.

Tammi was employed by the PA Department of Welfare.

She was the wife of George A. Kissinger.

She is survived by her spouse, George; two sons, Andrew Kissinger of St. Louis, MO, Adam Kissinger of Reading; two sisters, Carolyn Shomper IHM of Philadelphia, Regina Michaels of Williamstown; one brother, Robert Werdt of Tower City; a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held July 12, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Martine Joseph officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to an animal shelter, World Wild Life Fund or Conservation Group.
