Tamie Laudenslager, 92, died peacefully at her home in Gratz on July 9.
Born March 25, 1918 in Lykens Twp., she was the daughter of the late Homer and Katie Straub.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Charles E. Laudenslager; two brothers Wilson and Leon Straub, and a sister, Minnie Brousius.
Tamie is survived by two sons, Terry G. Laudenslager and his wife Drinda of Gratz; Robert L. Laudenslager and his wife Carol, of Elizabethville; one daughter, Judy L., and her husband Randall Reed of Spring Glenn. Five grandchildren, Kevin W. Laudenslager, Harrisburg, PA; Tonya, wife of Brian Troutman, Pillow, PA; Tiffany, wife of Eric Fite, Millersburg, PA; Pamela, wife of Robert Coffey, Basking Ridge, NJ; Scott, husband of Melina Reed, Clifton, NJ; and seven great-grandchildren. One sister, Vivian Bowman also survives.
Tamie was a home maker and faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting and reading, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family, with Rev. Jan Mills officiating.
