Sterlin R. (Pap) Boyer, 88, of Klingerstown Road, Herndon. died Monday, July 5, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Sterlin was born in Jordan Twp, on February 23, 1922, the son of the late Charles and Carrie (Klinger) Boyer. He was the widower of Anna (Wert) Boyer.
He was employed as a Mechanic at Former Klingerstown Motors, Klingerstown. He was also employed by Boyer's Used Cars and later was self employed. He was a member of the Klingerstown Fire Co, enjoyed hunting and helping others, he was of the Lutheran Faith.
Sterlin is survived by two sons Roy husband of Fay Boyer of Herndon; Henry husband of Inez Boyer of Dalmatia. Sterlin is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Melvin Boyer, Harlan Boyer, Ivan Boyer, and Bryant Boyer; and one sister Helen Rothermel.
