share thisShirley L. Wagner, 75, of Pottsville, died Friday, Jan. 22, at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.
Born in Cressona, Nov. 17, 1934, she was employed as a nurse’s aide at Home Health Care until her retirement.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1987.
Surviving are six sons, Gilbert, Randy, Glenn, Gerald, Donald and James, all of Pottsville; four stepdaughters, June Kunkle, Reading, Cheryl Pringle, Spokane, Wash., Fannie Casheries, Shenandoah, and Mary Schell, Tower City; a sister, Sandra Thorn, Saint Clair; 31 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 27, from Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville. Services and interment was at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
