Richard Russel Lambert, 84, of Sunbury, died on October 30, at the Manor Care, Sunbury.

He was born in East Stroudsburg, on November 7, 1927, a son of the late Margaret Seese and the late Russell O. Lambert.

Richard was employed as a Postal Worker for United States Post Office, retiring after 25 years of service.

He was the husband of the late Geraldine Kitty (Jasmer) Lambert.

He lived in Arizona and Idaho and was involved with the Boys Rangers in Arizona and Idaho.

Richard is survived by three sisters, Diane Haffling of Herndon, PA, Ada Mae Weidman of Shamokin Dam, Sherley Detrick of Kunkletown, PA; two sons, Richard R. Lambert Jr. of Milwaukee, OR, Kenneth Pete of Caldwell, ID; a brother, Harold Lambert of Springfield, MO; He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Pete; daughter, Rebecka Eva (Lambert) Rundell; brother, James Lambert; brother, Willard Ditrick; brother, Herbert Lambert; brother, Arlington Lambert.

Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 2, at the Manor Care, Sunbury, PA, with Rev. Keith Bunch, officiating.

Interment was in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell ID.
