Ramona D. Witmer, 73, died Saturday, Jan. 14, at Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.

She was born in Lykens Twp., September 20, 1938, a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Chapus Hoffman.

She was a member of United Church of Christ, Berrysburg; former leader of Berrysburg Girl Scouts; former president of Upper Dauphin Area High School Band Booster and former Avon Representative; and enjoyed baking for her family.

Ramona is survived by her husband, Irvin D. Witmer; three daughters, Teresa Witmer, Millersburg, Connie Witmer Szives and her husband Harvey, Halifax, Karla Runkle and her husband Scott, Hegins; three grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, and Cory.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Hoffman.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m., at the John R. Shultz Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens, with the Rev. Jeffrey Wagner officiating. Viewing will be Thursday, Jan. 19, from 10 a.m., until the time of the service, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Sweitzers Cemetery, Berrysburg, PA.
