share thisPeter S. "Pete" Otto, 52, of Mechanicsburg, died Sunday, July 11, surrounded by his loving family at Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence.
Born in Hegins, April 1, 1958, he was a son of Kathryn Schwartz Otto, Hegins, and the late John H. Otto.
He was employed as an enforcement officer at Dauphin County Domestic Relations.
He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg, where he served on the council and other various committees. He was also a member of Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 797, Valley View.
Peter was an avid runner.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Shawni Kyler; his daughter, Carlee Otto, Mechanicsburg; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 15, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dan Nagle and the Rev. Virginia Cover officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence, 1701 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Arrangements are entrusted to Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg.
