Paul L. Kohr, 92, formerly of Muir, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Tremont Health and Rehab Center.

Born in Muir, April, 3, 1921, he was a son of the late Noah and Barbara Miller Kohr.

A graduate of Porter Township High School, he was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

He was of the Protestant faith and a member of the Tower City American Legion.

Paul retired from the former TRW, Harrisburg.

In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his wife, Violet Klinger Kohr; his companion, Hazel Shaffer; three sisters, Dora Welker, Molly Lubold and Ruth Myers; three brothers, Frank, Homer and Ray Kohr.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 7 at the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City, with the Rev. Edward Gobrecht. Interment with military honors was in Greenwood Cemetery.
