Olive A. Underkoffler, 92, of Elizabeth Street, Williamstown, died Wednesday, July 21, at the Geisinger Medical Center, with her family by her side.
Born in Urban, March 22, 1918, she was a daughter of the late William and Maude Lesher Klock. She was a 1935 graduate of Trevorton High School and a member of its alumni.
Olive was a self-employed beautician for 61 years in Williamstown.
She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Williamstown, Order of Eastern Star, Glen Chapter, #425, Lykens, past member of White Shrine and Amaranth, Millersburg.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 68 years, Glen I., 2009.
Olive was an avid knitter, her life revolved her family and her church.
Surviving are her son, Glen E. "John" and his wife Andrea, Lykens; 1 grandson, Jeffrey Underkoffler, Lykens; one granddaughter, Amanda Hawk, Bloomsburg; a brother, Ernest Klock, Trevorton and a sister, Violet Trythall, Spring City. Several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held Sunday, July 25, from Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Kathleen Kuehl officiating. Burial was private in the Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown, where Eastern Star services were held.
