Myles R. Zettlemoyer, 74, of Sweet Arrow Lake Road, Pine Grove, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Pine Grove, March 2, 1938, he was a son of the late Myles E. and Hilda Kerstetter Zettlemoyer.

He was a 1955 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.

He was a Specialist Four with Company B 228th Supply & Transport Battalion in the Army National Guard.

Myles worked as a weigh master first for Franklin Miller Coal and then Blaschak Coal and later was a self employed coal deliverer for Myles Zettlemoyer Coal Delivery .

He was a member of the Grundsow Lodge Pine Grove.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Elaine Heiser Zettlemoyer; a brother, Dennis Zettlemoyer, Pine Grove; two nieces, Robin Bartin and Colleen Selinko; and a nephew, Raymond Calvin III, all of Pottsville; great-nieces and nephews, Daniel, Katrina and Elizabeth Calvin, Devin Selinko and Lindsey Barton.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor Rick Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Pine Grove.
