Mertie Mack, 99, formerly of Tremont, died August 16, 2010 at Gettysburg Retirement Village.
Born in Donaldson, Jan. 5, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Sadie Williams Kroh.
She was a retired local garment worker.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, Tremont.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel, in 1968; six brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Simmons, Chambersburg; two sisters, Crusie Wacker, Baltimore, Md., and Sylvia White, Lebanon; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on August 21 at the Minnig-Berger Funeral Home, Tremont, with the Rev. Maureen Duffy-Guy officiating. Interment was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont.
