Mary H. Batdorf, died August 25, at Waterbridge in Pine Grove.
She was born in Morris, Ill., Dec. 26, 1923, a daughter of the late Arthur and Ada Marsh Griffin.
She was a graduate of Morris High School.
She spent many happy years in Tremont where she enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, traveling and socializing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris E. Batdorf, in 1992; a brother, Ed Griffin; two sisters, Marjorie Maier and Patricia Lee.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ellen Arrington and Dorothy A. Vaughan; three sons, James A., Michael P. and Patrick V. May; a brother, George Griffin; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held August 31 at the Minning-Berger Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Tremont, with the Rev. Maureen Duffy-Guy officiating. Future interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
