Marlin E. Johns, 85, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, at The Manor At Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.

He was born November 1, 1926 in Loyalton, son of the late Marlyn and Mary Hoy Johns and husband of the late Mary Waters Johns.

He was the former owner of Johns' Garage, Loyalton; a 1944 graduate of Lykens High School; a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, Loyalton, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trains, baseball, bowling and shooting pool.

Marlin is survived by three sons: Stanley and his wife, Suzane, Elizabethville; Ray and his wife, Darla, Gratz; Roger and his wife, Deb, Texas; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Thursday, Jan. 26, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Loyalton, with The Rev. Barbara C. Yorks, officiating.

Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.

Memorial contributions may be made to his church, 5566 State Route 209, Lykens, PA 17048.
