Marion Eva Perseponko, 88, died Friday, Aug. 27, at The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg. She had retired from Lebro Shirt Co., and was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Church.

Marion was born June 9, 1922 in Wiconisco, a daughter of the late William and Mildred Thomas Witmer and was the wife of the late John G. Perseponko.

She is survived by: a son, John W. Perseponko and his wife Frances, Wiconisco; a daughter, Mary Coleman and her husband Clem, Lykens; a step-sister, Arlene Strohecker, Dayton; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday, Aug. 31, at her church, 732 Main St., Lykens, with Father Darius Moss as celebrant. Interment was in Odd Fellows, Lykens.

Memorial Contributions in her honor may be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 732 Main St., Lykens, PA 17048.

John R. Shultz funeral home has church of arrangements.
