Marie M. Jobe, 90, of Tower City, died Saturday, Jan. 7, at her daughter's home in Williamstown.

Born in Tower City, July 5,1921, she was a daughter of the late William and Charlotte "Lottie" Spittle Riskis.

Marie was a graduate of Porter High School. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton.

She began her career at Porter Tower High School and then with the Williams Valley High School with over 36 years of service, where she held various positions, retiring as a secretary in the guidance department.

She enjoyed shopping and anything that involved being with her family.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas E., in 1986.

Surviving are her three children; Thomas W. Jobe and his wife Linda, Tower City; Brenda M. Bettinger and her husband Richard, Williamstown and Donald S. Jobe and his wife Marie, Williamstown; two grandchildren, Mandi Jobe and Kegan Bettinger both of Williamstown; one brother, William Riskis and his wife Elaine, Pottsville.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Charles Oldland officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City.
