Lorraine M. Hatter, 76, formerly of Tremont, died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.

Born in Mount Carmel, Dec. 12, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Elmer G. and Margaret Diehl Neumeister.

She had worked at the former Ben Franklin, Tremont.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hatter Jr., in 1989; four brothers, Roland, Roger, Russell and Richard; and a stepgrandson, Allen M. Boyer.

Surviving are a son, Denis Hatter and his wife, Kim, Pine Grove; two daughters, Beverly Boyer, Tremont, widow of Glenn Boyer, and Barbara and her husband, Keith Graeff, Newtown; a brother, Chester, Perkasie; six grandchildren, Melissa, wife of Jason Dockey, Amanda, wife of Michael Hatter, Allison Boyer, Jessie Clark, Zachary Graeff and Mackenzie Greaff; great-grandchildren, Arianna, Peyton and Tanner Dockey, and Jacob and John Hatter; stepgreat-grandchildren, Marissa, Victoria and Brittney Boyer; and a stepgreat-great-grandson, Bentley Allen Boyer.

A funeral service was held March 30 at Minnig-Berger Funeral Home, Tremont, with the Rev. Krista Roehrig officiating. Interment was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont.
