Kenneth B. Kelly, 64, of Pine Grove, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at Lebanon VA Medical Center.

He was born in Shamokin, Oct. 28, 1948, a son of the late Edward and Dorothy Robel Kelly.

He was a 1966 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School in Shamokin.

He was an U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam with the 4th BDE 25th Infantry Division.

Kenneth was married to Roxanne Young Kelly, who survives.

He was of the Catholic faith.

After he retired, he was a life member of the Pine Grove V.F.W. Post 3432.

He was a loving husband and father, and a friendly, giving person.

In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by three daughters, Valerie Imchweiler and her husband, Shane, Tamara Wolfgang and Angela Swartchick; three sons, Robert Wolfgang and his wife, Jenny, Adam Kelly and Daniel Kelly; four grandchildren; a brother, Bernard Kelly and his wife, Pat; a sister, Bernadette Barvitskie; three nieces, Karen Kelly and her husband, Paul Collins, Annie Elliot and Lisa Startzel and her husband, Richard, and a nephew, Michael and his wife, Nichole Barvitskie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Buffington, and a niece, Susan Kelly Mayton.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, Oct. 1 at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home, 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, with the Rev. Job Foote officiating. A graveside service and interment with military honors followed at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Kenneth's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
