John K. Machamer

John K. "Jack" Machamer, 79, of Wiconisco, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, at home.

He was born October 3, 1933 in Wiconisco, a son of the late Theodore and Anna Walborn Machamber.

He was preceded in death by a sister Betty Maletich and three brothers, William, Harry and James Machamer.

A graduate of the former Wiconisco High School, he was a retired employee of Alfa Laval Inc., Lykens; an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War; a life member of Wiconisco Fire Co.; a social member of Liberty Hose Co. No. 2, Lykens and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Jack is survived by two daughters; Denise Swartzendruber and her husband Greg, Wisconsin; Sherry and her husband Alan, California and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held Tuesday, Nov. 20, from John R. Shultz Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens, with the Rev. Anne Myers officiating.

Inurnment was in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.
