John Jacob Paul, Sr., 92, of Gross Drive, Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Broad Street, Elizabethville, died Tuesday, July 13 at The Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence , Harrisburg.
He was born in Fearnot, the son of the late Irvin T., and Elizabeth Paul.
He was a retired truck driver for Glen Gery Brick Co, Harrisburg, and had been a coal miner for many years.
He was the widower of Jean M. (Strohecker) Paul.
He is survived by his son, John Jr., husband of Ruby Paul of Mechanicsburg and a daughter-in-law, Judy Paul of Elizabethville, the widow of his son Irvin "Bolivar" Paul; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews.
Services were held Tuesday, July 20, at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home Inc., Elizabethville. Inurnmnet was private at the family's convenience.
