Harold W. "Chup" Erdman, 88, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at the Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.

Harold was born in Pitman, to the late Harold W. and Iva Pearl Hepler Erdman Sr.

He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and enjoyed bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret L. Bopp Erdman of Lykens; a son, William H. Erdman and his wife Iris of York Haven; a daughter, Kathy L. Erdman of Lykens; two grandsons; two great-granddaughters and a sister, Elsie Crump. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Robert and a daughter, Mary Bell.

Funeral services were held Saturday Feb. 8, from St. Christopher Evangelical Lutheran Church, 635 North Second St., Lykens, with the Rev. Kathleen Kuehl officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Harold's honor to Liberty Hose Co. No. 2, 553 South Second St., Lykens, Pa. 17048

John R. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens was in charge of the arrangements.
