share thisGerald K. Shaffner Sr., 70, of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born in Highspire, he was a son of the late Clarence E. Shaffner and Alberta Bell Shaffner Brown.
Gerald retired as a computer operator from EUR Data Center, Camp Hill.
He enjoyed working on his computer and was an avid ham radio operator.
He was very proud of his grandson, TJ, whom he dearly loved.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Margaret Stiles Shaffner; a daughter, Kathy L. Shutt and her husband, Ted, Orwin; a son, Gerald Keith Shaffner Jr., Williamstown; a grandson, Ted Shutt Jr., Orwin; two half brothers, Kevin and William Brown.
Memorial services were held July 10 from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City, with the Rev. Edward Gobrecht officiating.
