Franklin Leon Specht, 71, of Leck Kill, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Frank was born in Danville on October 19, 1942, a son of the late Anna (Fetterolf) and Leon C. Specht.
He was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School class of 1960, and was the owner of Frank's Electric from 1965 until retirement.
He was a member of Christ Evangelical and Reformed Church, Leck Kill. He was known for his love of horses and hunting and belonged to various organizations.
On March 14, 1964 he married Sandra L. (Lesher) Specht who survives him.
Frank is also survived by a daughter, Wendy A., wife of Neal Batschelet, of Jersey Shore; and son, Eric F., husband of Tammy Specht, of Leck Kill; three grandchildren, Jordan and Jared Specht and Keri Batschelet; and one brother, Jack Specht, of Hegins.
A memorial service is being planned and will be announced.
Interment will be at a later date in St. Andrew's Cemetery Valley, View.
