Esther A. Kochel, 94, of Elizabethville, formerly of Boyertown, died September 24, at her residence.

She was born in Pottstown April 1, 1918, a daughter of the late Bertha (Straehle) and Edwin Spiese.

She was the wife of the late John L. Kochel, who preceded her in death in 1981.

She was a member of Colebrookdale Chapel, Boyertown, and a member of the Lykens Senior Center.

Esther is survived by two daughters - Joan Gonzales and husband Ramiro, and Judy Rodriquez; 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and several step great, and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded two brothers, Harold and Milton Spiese.

Private graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.

Memorial contributions can be made to Colebrookdale Chapel, Missionary Fund, 2108 Farmington Ave, Boyertown, PA 19512.
