Elwin L. Clauser, 84, of Schuylkill Haven, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, Jan. 3, 1929, he was a son of the late Harry and Annie Warner Clauser.

Elwin was a graduate of Cressona High School.

He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Summer Hill, where he served as a Sunday School teacher and church elder. He also belonged to Camp Rob ert, Lycoming County.

Elwin owned and operated his family's farm for many years and sold its produce at Renninger's and Leesport auctions.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera M. Koch Clauser, on June 23, 2003; and two sisters, Mae Epler and Meda Schrack.

He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl L. Zimmerman and husband, Joseph, and Pamela J. Clauser; two sons, Richard E. Clauser and wife, Deb, and Brian L. Clauser and wife, Cindy, all residing on the family farm in Schuylkill Haven; a sister, Shirley Williamson, Valley View; six grandchildren, Clint Clauser, Tanya Elo, Brandi Kline, Aaron Clauser and Adam and Amy Zimmerman; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life funeral service was held Thursday, June 13, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Summer Hill, Auburn, with the Rev. Bradley Walmer officiating. Interment was in Summer Hill Cemetery.

At the family's request, memorial donations may be sent to St. Paul's United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 1235 Summer Hill Road, Auburn, PA 17922.
