Effie Mary Noll, 87, of 610 Maple Street, Valley View, died at home on Monday, May 28.
She was born on January 28, 1925 in Coaldale, the daughter of the late Harvey H. and Lottie M. (Zimmerman) Hoover.
She was a member of David's Community Bible Church, Killinger; and was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion.
She was the widow of the late Marlin E. Noll.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda K. Moyer and her husband, Robert of Tower City; her brother, Herbert Hoover of York; her sister, Betty Matter of Duncannon; grandsons, Michael Moyer and his wife, Jane, of Tower City; and Kevin Roberts of Danville, VA.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan D. Roberts; brothers Harold, Lester, and Leo Hoover, and a sister, Catherine.
Services were held Friday, June 1 at Davids Community Bible Church, Killinger. Burial was in Davids Church Cemetery.
