Donna L. Krause, 57, of Pine Grove, died Sunday, Jan. 1 at home.

Born June 15, 1954, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Ruth Arlene Fidler Krause, Pine Grove, and the late Stanley Krause.

Donna was a member of Hetzel's UCC Church, where she had been a Sunday School teacher, taught crafts at Bible School, helped with God's Gang and was a consistory member.

In 1972, Donna graduated from Pine Grove Area High School and in 1974, graduated from Clarissa School of Fashion Design in Pittsburgh.

Donna worked as a salesperson for Boscov's, where she had been employed for 37 years, and had many dear friends and co-workers.

Surviving are her husband of 33 years, David R. Krause; a daughter, Kristen Krause and companion, John McMillin, Pine Grove; a sister, Kathy, wife of Charles Nettles, Schuylkill Haven; two brothers, Darren Krause and Kelly William Krause, both of Pine Grove; a niece, Amber Handwerk; a nephew, Kyle Nettles; a great-nephew, Kash Handwerk.

Celebration of Life Service was held Thursday, Jan. 5 in Hetzel's Church with the Rev. Mary Lou Eckels officiating. The family would prefer contributions be made to Hetzel's Church Joint Sunday School Fund, 233 Hetzel's Church Road, Pine Grove, PA 17963, in her memory.
