Donald I. Lucas, 75, of Evangel Park Road, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2013 at the Schuylkill Medical Center-South, Pottsville.

Born in Hegins Twp., October 4, 1937, a son of the late Ira and Violet Carl Lucas. He was a graduate of the former Porter Township High School.

Donald retired with over 40 years of service from the Hershey Chocolate Factory. He enjoyed repairing clocks and was accomplished carpenter. He was also a very talented musician.

He was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, Muir.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Mae M. Miller Lucas; three sisters, Marilyn Harner and Judy Straight and her husband Dean, both of Tower City; Patricia Blessing, Muir; one brother, Paul Lucas and his wife Pon, Florida; nephews and nieces, including Melody Bowser and her family of Tower City.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 7 from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City with Rev. Daniel Heckman. Burial was in the Methodist Cemetery, Muir.
