Dennis E. "Butch" Wilhelm Jr., age 43, of 307 Delp Road in Lancaster died Sunday, June 27, as a result of a motorcycle accident in Lancaster. He was the husband of Amy Keller Wilhelm who also died in the accident. They were married for 13 years.
Dennis was born Oct. 13, 1966 in Harrisburg, the son of Dennis and Darlene Kreiser Wilhelm who survive him of Halifax.
He was a graduate of Halifax High School class of 1984 and a graduate of Thompson Institute with an associates degree in architecturial design, drafting and computer aided drafting.
He was employed with Hanover Engineering. He enjoyed NASCAR and rooting for his favorite driver Tony Stewart. His hobbies included working with his hands, camping, fishing, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with friends and just enjoying life.
He was preceded in death by his son Bryce Alexander Wilhelm who passed away in 2007. In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother David and his wife Candi of Halifax; adored by his loving niece Sadie Anne Wilhelm and will be missed by many aunts and uncles.
Memorial services for Butch and Amy were held on Saturday July 3, at LCBC Lancaster, 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
