Dean L. Fry, 74, of West Fifth Street, Williamstown, died Saturday, July 10, at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street, Pottsville.

Born in Williamstown, Nov. 4, 1935, he was a son of the late Arthur and Hattie Updegrove Fry.

A retired coal miner, Dean was a member of the Army National Guard.

He was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Glenn Fry.

Surviving are two brothers, George E. Fry, Williamstown, and Carl D. Fry, Lykens; a sister, Carol Frank, York; nieces and nephews.
