Clifford H. "Kiki" Snyder, 75, of Lavelle, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 surrounded by his daughters at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street.

Born in Pitman, Jan. 13, 1939, he was a son of the late Clifford V. and Catherine Strunk Snyder.

Kiki graduated from the former Ashland High School, Class of 1956, and had a 40-year career with the Hershey Foods Corp. as a bean roaster until his retirement.

Kiki was well-known for his skill as a third baseman in local baseball leagues and was the team manager for the Lavelle Softball Team.

He was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Ashland; a lifetime member of the Lavelle Fire Company; member and past master of the Shamokin Lodge No. 255 F&AM; and the Good Fellowship Club, Ashland.

In addition to his parents, Kiki was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan S. Nahodil, in 2004.

He is survived by daughters, Debra, wife of Edward Hine, Ashland, and Deanna, wife of Edward Hogan, Mowry; grandchildren, Albert and Trista Dumboski, Zachary Hogan, Danielle Hogan and her fiance, Jason Bixler, and Matthew and Shawn Nahodil; great-grandchildren, Matthew Nahodil and Dakota Dumboski; brothers, Lewis, husband of Mary Snyder, Mount Carmel, and Gary, husband of Sharol Snyder, Hegins; nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends were invited to attend a funeral service Saturday, July 19, from Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland. Officiating was the Rev. Dana Heckman-Beil, pastor of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Ashland. Interment was in Sunnyside Cemetery, Lavelle. Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland, was in charge of arrangements.
