Clarence J. Shoop , 61, of Pottsville Street, Wiconisco, died Monday, Feb. 8 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born in Halifax, a son of the late William J. and Mary A. (Travitz) Shoop.
He was retired from Kimmels Coal Co., Wiconisco. He had former memberships with the Elizabethville and Halifax VFW and Elizabethville American Legion Post #404, He was a former social member of the Wiconisco Fire Co.
He was the widower of Debra Lee Shoop.
Survivors include two daughters, Samantha L. Huffer, Mechanicsburg wife of Thomas E. Huffer of Enola ; Terrylasia, wife of Bruce McLenegan, Lykens; brother, Richard Shoop, Halifax; four sisters, Bertha Daley, Millersburg, Sadie Harmon, Wiconisco, Margaret Shutt, Tower City and Bonita Gish , Camp Hill; five grandchildren, Kayla Shoop, Dauphin, Pamela Hartman, Harrisburg, Hannah Huffer, Mechanicsburg, Shawn Harner Jr., Lykens, and Brayden McLenegan, Lykens.
Clarence was preceded in death by his son, Paul A.K. Shoop.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 16 at the funeral home. Burial was in St. Pauls, “Bowerman’s” Cemetery, in Enterline.
