Clarence J Mauser Sr., 85, of 3343 Rt 72, Jonestown, died Friday, July 9, at his home.
He was born on Friday, September 19, 1924, in Lykens Twp,, a son of the late Fremont Mauser and Annie (Welker) Mauser.
Clarence served in the US Army during World War II in Germany and was involved in the Battle of the Bulge.
He retired as a heavy equipment operator for Facility Engineers at Ft Indiantown Gap.
He was of the Protestant Faith.
He was a member of American Legion Post 910, Jonestown.
Clarence enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his wife Dorothea V. (Klinger) Mauser, to whom he was married for 62 years.
He is also survived by three sons Jack T. Mauser and his wife Marjorie, Terry L. Mauser and his wife Carla, and Clarence J. Mauser Jr. and his wife Tammy all of Jonestown; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a great great grandson; .
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View.
Burial with military honors will be made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
