Clarence A. "Tom" Williams, 90, of Center Street, Wiconisco, formerly of Tower City, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the Tremont Health and Rehab.

Born March 22, 1922, in Lincoln, he was son of the late Joseph Williams and Carrie Laing Woll.

Tom was a 1940 graduate of Porter Township High School; a W.W.II and Korean Army Veteran.

He was a retired supervisor with supply department at Ft. Indiantown Gap.

He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Wiconisco; Tower City American Legion and the DAV. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Police; Tower City Moose Lodge; Porter Tower Lions Club; former member and past president of the Tower Porter Rotary Club. He was also a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton where he was involved with the madrigal dinners. He was also active with the Tower Porter Ambulance Association.

Tom enjoyed camping and woodworking.

In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his wife, Loretta Carl Williams, 1990; two brothers, Russell and Robert Williams and an infant sister.

Surviving are his daughter, Cynthia J. Schreffler and her husband Robert, Lykens; his companion of 19 years, Helen Keen, Wiconisco; one brother, James Williams, Indiana; one sister Pearl Reinoehl, Tremont; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 7 from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City with Rev. Barbara Yorks. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Wesley U.M. Church, P.O Box 467, Wiconisco PA 17097.
