Carol A. Klock, 66, of Herndon, died January 2, 2013, at her residence.

She was born in Sunbury, on September 9, 1946, a daughter of the late Lois (Hummel) Ulrich and the late Gery E. Ulrich.

Carol was employed at JGOH Packaging, Amity House and last employed at the Herndon Fire Co. as a bar manager. She was the wife of Douglas A. Klock, married since Nov. 14, 2003.

She was a member of Erdman Sportsman Club, Lower Mahanoy Fire Co, Goodwill Hose Company, Alvin E. Long Post No. 504, and the Women of the Moose.

Carol enjoyed working in her flower beds, collecting Boyds Bears and blue glassware. But her main passion in life was managing the Herndon Fire Company, shopping for the supplies, decorating and organizing the dances and other functions. She also enjoyed her dog Mia.

Carol is survived by her loving spouse Douglas Klock, daughter - Sherri and John Percoskie; granddaughter - Amy Percoskie; grandson - Dustin and Jeness Underkoffler; three stepchildren - Nicci and Todd Brandt, Jacob Klock, Levi and Holly Klock; step- grandchild - Dawson and Amber Brandt; brother - Donald Ulrich and companion Vickie King; sister - Sharon and Ted Biernstein.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, 10 to 11 a.m. at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. A memorial service will follow on Saturday, Jan. 12, 11 a.m. at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, with the Rev. Rick Anderson, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Mostly Mutts, 284 Little Mountain Rd, Sunbury, PA 17801.
