Burnell G. Scheib, 78, of Palmyra, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, at his home.

Born in Muir, January 8, 1934, he was a son of the late Arthur and Verna Troutman Scheib.

Burnell was a 1951 graduate of Tower City High School and Williamson Trade School. He was an Army veteran.

He was a retired tool and die repairman from AMP, Inc. Williamstown. After retirement he worked part-time at Penn National Race Track.

He was of the protestant faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; enjoyed playing cards and collecting Hess Trucks.

In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by two brothers, Dale and Stanley Scheib.

Surviving are a son, Brian Scheib, Sr. and his wife Teri, Wiconisco; a daughter, Jann Reiner and her husband Harold, Arizona; four grandchildren, Scott, Glen and Roxanne Reiner all of Arizona and Brian Scheib, Jr. of Tower City.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 10 from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City with Rev. Linda Bonfiglio officiating. Burial with military honors was in the Fairview Cemetery, Muir. To sign the guest book visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com.
