Brenda Jean Fry, 51, of 134 Paul Drive, Millersburg, died Thursday, Aug. 26, at home, surrounded by her many loved ones.
She was born in Orton, IL on July 29, 1959, a daughter of Walter Bott and the late Jean Geiger Bott.
She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, James V.; two sons Jeremy, State College, and Jared, at home; father Walter Bott, Indiana; brothers William Bott, Utah, and Robert Bott, North Dakota. Brenda is also survived by a large extended family including her mother in law, Lucille Fry of Millerstown; 11 sister-in-laws; 7 brother-in-laws and 23 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Geiger Bott and father-in-law, Max L Fry. Brenda grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Morton, Illinois. She graduated from Morton High School in 1977. She worked hand in hand with her husband, Jim, and son, Jared, at Fry's Flooring and Main Street Mattress in Elizabethville. Brenda had a kind and loving heart and touched all she met. Brenda enjoyed traveling, music, photography and was an animal lover. Her most special moments were spent with her family and many friends.
She attended Lykens Valley House of Prayer. The family received visitors Sunday, Aug. 29, at the Lykens Valley House of Prayer, Lykens, with a memorial service following. Arrangements were held by Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg. To sign the online guest book go to www.hbfuneralhomes.com.
