Brandon Harner, 29, of Hegins, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 1.

Born in Danville, he was the son of William C. Harner, Jr., Elizabethville, and Lonarae Lutz Harner, Pottsville.

He was a 2002 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, and later graduated from ITT Tech, Sunbury. He was employed as a welder with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers. Local 13, Newportville.

He was a member of F.&A.M., Lodge 401, Watsontown. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he was also a member of the Masonic Motorcycle Club International, Chapter 19, in Mifflinburg.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William Harner, Sr. and Catherine Harner; his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Jane Lutz.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his fiancée, Leeann Woodring, Hegins; his brother, Chad Harner (Casey), Valley View; his stepmother, Tina Harner, Elizabethville; his stepfather, Craig Angelo, Pottsville; his stepbrother, John Leshko, Millersburg; his stepsister, Pamela Leshko, Elizabethville; his paternal aunt, Cynthia Huntzinger (Barry), Valley View; his maternal uncle, Eugene Lutz (Julie), Klingerstown; his nieces and nephews; and his faithful canine companions, Honey, Harley and Bison, which he treated as his children.

Relatives and friends may call at Dutcavich Funeral Home, 200 Sunbury Street, Minersville, on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. Dutcavich Funeral Home, Minersville, was in charge of arrangements.
