Betty K. English, 91, of Williamstown, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013 at the Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Williamstown, May 25, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Horace and Dora Fry Flynn.

Betty was a 1940 graduate of the former Williamstown High School. She was a retired seamstress from the former Katrice Fashions.

She was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church and the Good Time Senior Citizens. She enjoyed crocheting and doing crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Spark" Engish, 1985; two brothers, Loyal and Clair Flynn; two sisters, Evelyn Peirce and Alice "Sis" Machamer.

Surviving are three sons, Charles English and his wife Donna, Lancaster; Larry English and his wife Patricia, New Cumberland and Dennis English and his wife Candy, Williamstown; one brother, Horace Flynn Jr., Harrisburg; ten grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City. Visitation will be from 10:30-11 a.m. at the chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Williamstown United Methodist Church, East and Spruce Streets, Williamstown, PA 17098.
