Arthur I. Bingaman, 94, of Tower City, died Friday, Jan. 13, at Tremont Health and Rehab.
Born in Sunbury, September 5, 1917, he was a son of the late Willis and Emma Crouthamel Bingaman.
Art was a retired truck driver, last owning the Arthur Bingaman's Coal Delivery and also was the owner of the former Bingaman's Taxi Service in Tower City.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Catherine Hopple Bingaman, 1999; a son, Bruce Bingaman, 1999; grandson, Christopher Bingaman; a sister, Winnie Brown and a brother, Joseph Bingaman.
Surviving are two sons, Arthur L. Bingaman and his wife Maria, New Mexico; Gary W. Bingaman and his wife Hollie, Williamstown; a daughter, Winnie Keiser, Wellsville; a sister, Frances Hawk, Sunbury; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, Jan. 18 from Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, with Rev. Edward Gobrecht officiating.
