POTTSVILLE - The Ashland woman who has admitted helping to rob Tri-Valley Pharmacy in May 2011 in Valley View pleaded guilty Wednesday, Oct. 31 in Schuylkill County Court to committing a theft and possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia.
However, Leanne Micklesavage, 22, continues to refuse to identify her co-conspirator in the robbery, which could jeopardize any plea agreement she has.
"You know what my main concern is. I need some real good justification" for accepting, and sentencing Micklesavage in accordance with, any plea agreement without such an identification, Judge Jacqueline L. Russell said.
Russell ordered preparation of a presentence investigation and said she would schedule Micklesavage to be sentenced within 45 days on all charges.
If Russell does not accept the plea agreement, she would have to give Micklesavage a chance to withdraw her plea before imposing any sentence on her.
Micklesavage pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft.
Hegins Township police had charged Micklesavage with possessing cocaine and baggies on May 17, 2011, in her blue Pontiac in the township, while Saint Clair police had charged her with stealing eight Xbox video games, with a total value of approximately $160, on Sept. 27, 2011, from Wal-Mart in the borough.
On Oct. 17, Micklesavage had pleaded guilty to conspiracy and two counts of retail theft.
Hegins Township police charged Micklesavage with helping in the May 17, 2011, robbery that netted 200 20-milligram oxycodone tablets and 117 10-milligram oxycodone tablets with a total value of $272.
Police said Micklesavage was in the store at 301 W. Main St. when it was robbed. Police said that even though the robber held a knife to Micklesavage's throat, she wanted to leave the store before they came, provided a false name and address when interviewed, was uncooperative and would not provide a description of the robber.
Also concerning the Oct. 17 plea, state police at Frackville charged Micklesavage with committing the two retail thefts on Dec. 12, 2011, and Dec. 14, 2011.
Micklesavage said little during the hearing except to indicate that she understood her plea and that it was voluntary.
