Forrest P. Knorr, 63, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, at the Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.
He was a retired employee of Roadway Express and Reiff & Nestor Co.; a member and former fire chief of Liberty Hose Co. No. 2; a member and former driver for L.&W. Ambulance Assoc.; a member of Dauphin Co. Volunteer Fireman’s Association; Central PA Teamsters Union No. 770 and Local No. 135.
Forrest was born July 3, 1946 in Klingerstown, son of the late Guy and Verna Paul Knorr and was also preceded in death by a sister, Sandra V. Knorr Maurer.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen Ann Kohler Knorr; three sons: Forrest P. Knorr Jr., New York City; Rodney L. Knorr and Brian M. Knorr, both of Halifax; five brothers: Guy L. Knorr Jr., Mechanicsburg; Steven D. Knorr, Pitman; Barry L. Knorr and his wife Pat, Florida; Gary R. Knorr, Shamokin and Kevin L. Knorr and his wife Gloria, Holiday, FL; four grandchildren: Rodney Jr., Miranda, Adam, and Madelyn.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the John R. Shultz Funeral Home, 406 Market Street, Lykens, with the Rev. Cheryl L. Hoffman officiating. Interment was in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.
